Sweet Dreams

Good evening everyone.

I can't believe how quickly this week has flown by....nearly Friday!!!

My mum asked me to make a birthday card for her Aunt....who is also known affectionately to family members as 'Nanna Choc'....she has been given this nickname because whenever anyone visits, no-one ever leaves without a handful of chocolatey goodies.

This is the card I made....

I have tried to keep the design fairly simple as I thought the papers were busy enough.

The image is a Penny Black stamp called Sweet Slumber and coloured using Promarkers. The papers are from BasicGrey ~ Bittersweet. I love these papers and have managed to work my way through two of these paper pads. The border punch is another of my favourites from Martha Stewart. I've finished off using a computer generated sentiment, pearls from The Hobby House, some Glossy Accents to the chocolates and a little Stickles to the tag.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

The Paper Shelter Challenge ~ # 63 ~ Anything Goes
Stampavie And More Challenge ~ # 167 ~ Monochrome
A & T Challenge Blog ~ # 23 ~ Anything Goes
2 Sisters Challenge Blog ~ # 90 ~ Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a lovely evening.

Aww, nanna choc!! :) What a sweet name, and a really lovely card Debbie.

I think i would be known as 'Aunty Craft Stash'... as all my nieces and family leave with tons of old stash I need to clear out to make way for the sparkly new stuff!! lol :D

Hi debbie

this is a beautiful card and I love the basic grey "bittersweet" papers - you can get them on the basic grey digi shop if you want them then you can print them as big or as small as you want!

Thanks for popping by to see me.

Hi Debbie

Love your card. Great papers and layout and such a cute image.

Must admit it would be quite scary to open up a box of chocolates and find a mouse asleep in there though LOL!!!

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Love Jules xx
