A Quiet Moment

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are well.

Today I would like to share another gift bag that I made....again as part of a set which I will share over the next few posts.

This fabulous image is an Elizabeth Bell Topper from The Hobby House called Quiet Moments. I love these toppers as the colours are just beautiful and the images are gorgeous. The flower die is from Marianne Creatables and I've had them for ages and thought it was time to let them see the light of day.

The papers are from my stash....sorry not sure what make they are. The border punch is my favourite from Martha Stewart and the ribbon, brad, spacer and pearl string are all from The Hobby House.

I would like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:~

Spring Bringer

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Just have a quick card to share today.

I made this card for the birthday of my best friends youngest daughter who's birthday it was last week.

The papers are again from my scraps pile....the image is a Wee Card Topper from The Hobby House called ~ Spring Bringer. These are such sweet images and they are some of my favourite card toppers. The pearls and pearl string flowers are also from The Hobby House. The image is computer generated and I added lots of Stickles to her wings for some sparkle and bling.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Vroom....Vroom....Vroom!!!

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I have a card to share....Again I created this card as part of a set and my card is the last item in this set.

The Card

And The Rest Of The Set

(I have already posted my other makes earlier on my blog)

The image is a Kenny K Topper from The Hobby House called ~ It's A Guy Thing!. The papers are from my scraps stash and the cogs and wheels, twine and buttons were also from The Hobby House. I finished my card by adding a computer generated sentiment.

Now I'm really not very good at cards for Men/Boys and I find it so difficult to find my Mojo to work for me but I have to say I really enjoyed putting this little set together and I'm thrilled with how it turned out......I can see more sets coming this way in the future.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

This is my first Christmas card of the year so it is very simple.....just to start me off.

Pinks & Pearls

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are well.

Well what a day I've had.....Dentists, Doctors, Physiotherapist.....busy, busy, busy!

Today I have another of my giant altered pegs to share.

I have made this for a young lady's birthday, so I hope she likes it......I thought pinks would suit her very well.

I decorated the peg with the same papers that I used for her card.....there were just enough pieces to cover the job. The roses, flowers and pins are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts and The Hobby House.

I just love decorating these giants pegs and they always turn out so well.....I don't always want to give them away.....so I have made one or two for my own craft room now. They are perfect for keeping all my notes together.

I would like to enter my decorated peg into the following challenges:~

All Crafts Challenge ~ Anything But A Card
Crafting From The Heart ~ Anything Goes/Use Flowers
Craft Your Passion ~ Girly Girl
The ABC Challenge ~ F Is For Flowers

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a lovely evening.

Hopeful

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I would like to share a tag that I made a while back and had forgotten about.

I created this tag to go with a selection of other items that I made which can be seen over at The Hobby House.

The image is from one of my favourite Wee Card Topper sets ~ Hopeful. The pearls string, pearl adhesive swirls, ribbons and the roses can all be found over at The Hobby House too. The papers are from Lili Of The Valley.

Here are the rest of the pieces I made to go with the set which I have already posted separately on my blog in the past.

I wish now I'd included some of the LOTV papers on the tag to tie it in more with the rest of the set but never mind we live and learn don't we.....I don't think my original intention was to create a set so they didn't turn out too badly together.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Oh Boy!

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I want to share another make with you.

Again it's another make for a boy.....don't ask me what's going on as I'm not quite sure, boy makes really aren't my thing but here goes.....Don't stop me now.....I'm on a roll.....

This tin started life as a present with soaps inside and once I'd emptied it and used up the original contents I bunged it away in a drawer thinking that I would decorate it with all things pretty and girly.....well as you can see.....Not So!!!!

I decided to decorate it with all things 'Boy' papers, buttons, cogs and wheels etc....

The papers are from my stash and the image is a Kenny K Topper from The Hobby House called ~ It's A Guy Thing. The border punch is from Martha Stewart and I added some cogs/wheels and some buttons to finish. The sentiment is computer generated.

I would like to enter my altered tin into the following challenges:~

For You!

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well today.

It's freezing here with a thick frost everywhere but I'm hoping it turns out like it did yesterday....with beautiful sunshine and blue skies.....signs of Spring I think!

Today I have a little album to share. A few weeks ago I made this card.....

which my mum promptly claimed for a friend's birthday.

Then she asked me if I could make a small album to go with it so this is what I came up with.

The papers are from the same paper pad but as the light has been so poor for photos recently they do look slightly different but I can assure you the card and album do match perfectly. I decorated each page inside the album so mum's friend will be able to add her own photos, etc.....

All the ribbons, pearl strings and roses are from The Hobby House. The mount for the letters is a nestie and the letters and butterflies are die~cuts.

I would like to enter my album into the following challenges:~

Divas By Design ~ Die~cuts
Totally Gorjuss ~ # 222 ~ Sentiment As The Main Focus
The ABC Challenge ~ E Is For Embellish
Crafting Muskateers ~ # 10 ~ Butterflies
Really Reasonable Ribbon ~ # 88 ~ Anything But A Card And Ribbon

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Gone Fishing

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's cold and windy here this morning but thankfully dry.....for now.....

I have a card to share that I made for my dad. It is his birthday today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

This of course is a beautiful image from Lili Of The Valley which I stamped and coloured with Distress Ink Markers. The papers are once again from my scraps pile.....I can't remember which paper pad they came from though.....sorry!!! I did lots of matting and layering on this card and then finished off by adding chipboard letters and some buttons tied with garden twine.

I hope he likes this card......I have to say he's not a fisherman but I just love this cute image.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

Crafty Cardmakers ~ # 109 ~ This Is A Man's World
Treasured Times ~ Anything Goes With Layering

Well that's me away now to do the veg for Sunday dinner and sort out the roast. Mum and dad are coming for Sunday dinner and I need to make a pie for pudding. Brogan has already made dad a birthday cake and very impressive it is but I'm sure she'll add it to her own blog The Happy Little Cupcake later. She has also made a Bannoffee Pie for pudding.

Tea Party

Good morning everyone.

Well it's Friday once again and time for a new challenge over at

Winter Wonderland

Our theme this week is

'NO STAMPING ALLOWED'

(use die cuts, decoupage, pre-coloured toppers etc.)

And here is my DT card

We are still in our non Christmas period but you can still enter your Christmas creations if you want to.

This week we are sponsored by

Crafter's Companion

who are offering one lucky winner a £10 voucher.

For my card I used this gorgeous Mo Manning topper from The Hobby House called Tea Party. The papers are from my stash.....I am slowly whittling this down a bit but no sooner have I used one pile of papers there seems to be another one appearing......!!!!

The die cut mount, pearls and pearl string are also from The Hobby House and the little Fimo heart is a little find of mine which I found while clearing out a drawer in my craft room. I bought a pack of these years ago and I am ashamed to say they have been stuck at the bottom of the drawer since then.....

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog to take a peek at the lovely creations the rest of the DT have made for your inspiration.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

February Art Journal.

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I've got home from work, it's blowing a gale and pouring with rain and everyone else is out so there is nothing else for it but for me to stay in my craft room I think!!!!!

So here I am actually sticking to one of my New Year's resolutions and that is to keep up to date with my Art Journal.

Here are my February 2014 Journal Pages.

Now I created this page with my beautiful new Pan Pastels. My wonderful partner bought me the complete set of Pan Pastels for Christmas and I just Love...Love...Love them.....isn't he clever as this was just what had been top of my crafting 'Wishlist'.......

I gessoed my pages first and then started adding shades of red Pan Pastels gradually building up colour and depth. I spritzed and stencilled, stamped and coloured hearts and added this little image from Stampotique called Supergirl.....which I coloured with Distress Inks.

I am adding my February journal pages to Kate Crane's 365 Journal Challenge.

Thank you so much for taking the time to pop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely comments.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.
