Never Too Old For A Hug

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I have just got time to post my card before a dog walk and then we're going to make an attempt to clear out the loft........I say the word 'attempt' very loosely I might add.....

When we were away in Whitby recently I had a bit of a play with my Copics and spent a few happy hours ( or was that torturous hours) colouring and this is one of my completed images.

I've had this sweet image for ages and I'm ashamed to say she has never been inked up until now. This is 'Never Too Old For A Hug' from Lili Of The Valley.

I coloured with my Copics (I'm still practising as you can tell). The papers are also from Lili Of The Valley and I mounted the paper on pale pink Bazzill card stock. The flowers are Prima which have been stuck on my shelf for years. I added small pearls medallions to the centres of the flowers and some pink gems, all from The Hobby House. The lace ribbon is from my stash and the stamped sentiment is also from Lili Of The Valley. To finish the card I added some Stickles to the little fairy's wings and around the distressed edge of the image.

This is a similar card to the one I shared at the beginning of the week....just a different layout this time. And again the papers are from my stash and the Nestability die is one from my new set....one of my favourites.  I distressed the edge of the topper before mounting it onto the pink die cut card.

Rock Star...

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's pouring down here...and very bleak and miserable.

Today I have another card to share...this time for a boy.

This was a very quick and simple card to make.

I decided to use lots of layers on this one and a Kenny K Topper ~ Football Rocks from The Hobby House. The papers are from my stash....I'm still trying to whittle this pile of  papers down....it's getting there....slowly!. I also managed to use some of my Kraft off cuts too. The stars are die cuts and the pearls are also from The Hobby House. I completed my card by adding a computer generated sentiment.

Bank Holiday Capers....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

As it was a Bank Holiday yesterday we decided to try a new walk with the dogs and took a short drive out into the countryside not far from where my partners' parents live.....I can't tell you how many times we've driven out there and said 'We must bring the dogs here'.....and then forgotten all about it until we pass by the next time!!!

Here are a few photos of our three intrepid furry explorers.....and The Boss.

At Last A Diagnosis & A Card.....

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's been a strange old day weather wise....cold, windy, rain and thunder and now warm sunshine.....is there any wonder we never know what to wear!!!

Well I went to see the Rheumatologist on Thursday and he has diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia which is as we suspected.....so at least I know what I'm dealing with now.

Today I had a little time to make a card and here it is...

Recently I treated myself to a few new stamps from Stamping Bella and this one is Faith the Fairy. I coloured the stamped image using my Copic markers. The papers are First Edition Papers ~ New Leaf.  I added a white lace ribbon and bow with a small clear plastic button flower at the centre. The pearls are from The Hobby House and the sentiment is computer generated. I finished off by adding some Star Dust Stickles and Liquid pearls.

Giant Paper Clips In Pink

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's been another long day at work and the weather has been wonderful.....or so they tell me!!!

It's my turn again to share a little inspiration over at

The Hobby House

So I thought I would make a bookmark using a giant pink paperclip.

I've used this fabulous Kenny K image and after distressing the edges a little bit I mounted it onto a die cut piece of pink card stock....this has got to be one of my all time favourite nestie shapes. I then added a tiny matching ribbon and some flat backed pearl Lotus flowers and adhesive pearls to finish off.

Those Hobby House products are

Birthday Wishes...

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are well.

It's been a beautiful weekend and I've managed to get lots done and lots of walking too....I'm on a mission to lose some weight......maybe if I ate less chocolate and biscuits I might manage to shed a few pounds!!!

Anyway I've managed to get a bit of crafting in too.

This is a Birthday card that I have made for a friend's Birthday this month.

The colours are dreadful but they are a very subtle green with white.....It has been awful trying to get a decent photo but who am I to complain about the gorgeous sunshine.

The picture is from Pion and the papers are from my scraps box. I distressed all the edges and added some lace, pearl strings, a doily and some self adhesive pearls, The sentiment is a stamp from LOTV and the brads and flower spacers are from the back of a drawer.....I found these while tidying up this morning......

I seem to be getting back in the swing of things with the old crafting Mojo returning and I'm hoping I will know a little more after Thursday as I finally have an appointment with a Rheumatologist.....so hopefully I will be a little wiser re all my symptoms involving the upper arms and shoulders......

Tag It!...

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I would like to share something that I should have blogged last week and I forgot as I was away in Whitby....naughty me!!!

This was my inspiration piece for The Hobby House.....Whoops....I seem to forget so many things lately.

This time around I decided to make a tag for a male. I used this great image ~ Hobby House Topper Kenny K - All Rounders and lots of pieces of card and paper from my scraps box. I die cut some circular Nestie shapes and added the ribbons which are also from The Hobby House. To finish my tag I used some cork alphabet tiles.....and there it is.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a lovely evening.

Time Out.....

Hello everyone.

I hope you are well.

I have to apologize for being absent lately and for my lack of commenting. I have been struggling with some ongoing health issues and have really not felt like or have been up to creating anything and to add insult to injury my mojo has well and truly done a runner.

Anyway I have been trying to recharge my batteries and have just arrived back after a lovely week in Whitby....my favourite place anywhere.

My Favourite Place

Our Favourite Coffee Shop

Our Favourite Pub ~ Fabulous Views

Goathland

Staithes

The weather was surprisingly kind to us....raining at night and warm during the day and we had some lovely walks (which I struggled with at times but I was determined to carry on). We had some  wonderful meals out at The Marine, The Magpie, The Humble Pie And Mash Shop and a gorgeous Sunday lunch at The Dolphin. We did lots of beach combing and fossil hunting and had a fabulous trip on a steam train to Goathland....and I managed a play with my Copics so hopefully I will have something to show you soon.........

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments and for staying with me during my time out.

Have a lovely day despite the rain.

I will try and pop around your blogs shortly so I can catch up and see what you have all been up to.

Still lots going on at home at the moment but will try and squeeze in some crafting along the way.
