Inspiration At The Hobby House

Good morning everyone.

It's my turn to share some inspiration at

The Hobby House

This time around I made a Christmas card using some fabulous Hobby House products.

And here it is.....

Those Hobby House products are:

Mo Manning Hobby House Toppers - Christmas Elves

and the papers I used are from Kanban (I think!!!). The border punch is Martha Stewart.

Thank you for popping by.

Have a lovely day.

Christening Day

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's a little dull and overcast here this morning but hey ho it's better than rain I guess.

Today I have another card to share.

This time I was asked to make a Christening card.

A while ago I was lucky enough to win some digi images from Di's Digi Stamps and I chose this very cute image called Christening Bears which I thought was perfect for my card.

I coloured the image with both Promarkers and Copics and as I wanted to keep it relatively simple I skipped designer papers and settled for some pink Bazzil Basics and some glittery white card for the base and embellishments. I added some die cut corners and created the flowers by using various sized retro flower punches and trimmimg the petals on the largest flower to create a different shape. I just finished off by adding pearls.....my favourite embellishments from The Hobby House

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

Creative Corner Challenges  ~ Cute Critters
Dutch Dare ~ # 231 ~ Animal Antics
Penny's Paper Crafty ~ # 141 ~ Dies And/Or Punches
Papertake Weekly ~ Flower Power

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a lovely day.

Baking Bear

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are well.

Today I have a card to share that I was asked to make by a work colleague who wanted a birthday card for her little boy to give to his Nana.....and Nana bakes a lot!!!! So I thought this was the perfect image for the card.

The image is called Busy Baking from LOTV and I'm ashamed to admit that I've had this stamp for ages and have never got round to inking it up......Shame On Me!!!!.  I coloured the cute image using Distress Markers. The papers are from Pretty Please by MME and I got them free in a magazine a year or so ago. I tried to keep this card quite simple and just added pearls and some punched flowers to finish off. Oh and my colleague wanted me to add the word 'Nana' somewhere on the card.

I hope I met the brief anyway.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

Dutch Dare  ~ # 231 ~ Animal Antics
Ruby's Rainbow ~ # 61 ~ Food And Or Drink
Challenges 4 Everybody ~ # 27 ~ Anything Goes

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a great Sunday.

Travel Journal

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

What I want to know is.....Who stole the sun then?????

Never mind it might give me an opportunity to go and find Mr Mojo as I think he has taken a holiday without asking me...............

I just can't seem to get motivated at the minute.

I was asked to make a travel album as a gift for someone who is coming over from America for a holiday and is taking in Paris and London along the way, and this is what I came up with.

Well I tried!!!!!

There are quite a few more pages to the album but I thought this was more than enough to give you an idea.

There are lots of pockets, envelopes and secret folders as well as places to store travel and admission tickets and lots of space for photographs and personal notes.

I added lots of ribbons to the ring binders and added some charms of cameras, The Eiffel Tower etc.....

I hope she likes it.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Sorry I've been so quiet lately.....I have a lot of things on at the moment and life gets in the way of crafting, blogging and commenting.....but hopefully things will get back to normal in the next month or so.

I do have some craft projects on the go at the minute but today I wanted to share these photos of the butterflies on the Buddleia in my garden.......

These little beauties have had me captivated over the last few weeks and we have counted up to fifty plus butterflies at a time......and we think about 7 - 8 different varieties.

Just stunning to watch.

Just A Note.....

Good morning everyone.

From The Side

From The Front

The papers are from LOTV and I just love them, they are called 'Petal Fresh' and they are so pretty.  I have added some blue chalk around the edges of the peg  and the flowers are from various different places mainly The Hobby House and Wild Orchid Crafts. All Grown Up!!!!

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today it is my daughter Brogan's 18th Birthday.

I can't believe where the years have gone.

Here is the card that I made for her.

I attended a Copics class with the fabulous Kate last Saturday and this is the card we made and I just knew this would be perfect for Brogan.

My colouring isn't brilliant but I'm getting there.

She didn't want a large cake but opted for cupcakes and here is a photo of one of the boxes......there are 36 cupcakes all together.

There is definitely a theme as you can see......shoes, shoes and more shoes.

One of her presents was a pair of Jimmy Choos and yes they do fit me!!!!!!
(this was instead of a party I might add)

Tonight we are going out for a meal at one of our favourite restaurants and I'm sure the shoes will be having an outing.

Here is a final photo of my birthday girl.

Happy Birthday Brogie.

We all love you very much.

xxxxx

Have a lovely evening.

Thank you for stopping by.
