Butterfly Cross Stitch...

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Just a quick post to share another 'small' project that I am trying to complete.

I found this little number idling in my sewing basket and thought I'd get it finished.

 Orange Butterfly Bookmark

It makes a nice change to use these lovely bright orange tones when I have used nothing but greens recently for the....

 Holly Fairy

...which I still haven't completed yet....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

So Proud Of My Little Girl....

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I just want to say a huge 'Well Done' to my lovely girl....after lots of hard work over the last three years she has now achieved a degree in English .....

We are so proud of you Brogan....

(Photograph by Phillipa Buss ~ 21/04/2017)

Here is the card I made for her....

Now please be kind....I haven't made a card for about eighteen months or more and I am so out of practice with the Copics Pens. I spent ages rummaging through boxes for things as all my card making paraphernalia is still packed away after our house move.

Anyway it turned out ok....I think....and Brogan seemed to be pleased with my efforts which was the main thing.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

Creative Inspirations ~ # 279 ~ Anything Goes!.
Fussy And Fancy Friday  ~ # 191 ~ Celebration
Crafting With An Attitude ~ # 29 ~ Anything Goes
Penny's Paper~Crafty  ~ # 337 ~ Anything Goes

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Tea Heaven....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Now it has to be said that everyone who knows me is aware of my love of tea....and that is all things tea....

I collect vintage teacups and saucers, strainers, fancy spoons, teapots and of course tea....I have a cupboard full of teas.....anyway the less said about it the better.....for now anyway!!!

Recently on a trip to London we popped over to Covent Garden and yes I had to have a few moments in Whittards.....

I love Whittards and spent quite a while Oohing and Aahing at all the pretty tea caddys, mugs, teapots until I settled a a couple of purchases....

So many varieties to choose from...

And such pretty packaging too...

Anyway I eventually settled on the Limited Edition Alice in Wonderland teapot (for one) top shelf in the photograph....and the trio of Alice in Wonderland teas (bottom shelf of the photograph)....

I have to admit to being swayed by the very pretty tea canisters and have yet to try the tea but they do smell wonderful so I have high hopes.....I will let you know when I get round to trying them though.....

I also purchased some new spoons and a tea strainer but have my eye on a few other goodies......maybe I will pick those up on another visit!!!....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

FNWF ~ Putting Together A New Project...

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Again I found myself taking part in.....

Friday Night With Friends

Joining in with like minded crafter's from around the world who join together (virtually) that is.....on the first Friday of the month to do a spot of knitting, sewing, crocheting, quilting etc....whatever craft you like....

Thank you to Cheryll for hosting this fabulous get together.

Here is something I started putting together for my next new project....

Stargazer

Actually I started sorting threads and beads on Friday afternoon as we went out with friends in the evening...OK so I cheated a bit but I still haven't started anything new which is good!!!....and I have also sorted all the threads for this project but haven't taken a photograph.

I have only added a few stitches to this little number which is just about finished....

The Holly Fairy

I need a serious kick in the pants at the moment but there are lots of other things going on at home right now and of course the suns out and although Summer is my least favourite season it is nice to get outside into the garden and the lighter nights are a bonus too....

I know...I know...there isn't much crafting going on here at the moment but I am trying honest!

I have a week off work now so hopefully I can get a little time to myself to do some knitting and stitching.....Is this likely?....probably not but I live in hope.....

Right now though I can spend a bit of time having a look at what everyone else was doing before the rest of the family descend on us for Sunday lunch.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
