SPOOKED!

Morning everyone....Firstly I would like to say 'Hello and Welcome' to my new followers and secondly to apologise yet again for being such a rotten blogger lately.....My Mojo seems to have done a bit of a runner recently so I thought I would give myself a week off and see if the said Mojo decided to return....

Today I have some ATC's to share...

I have made these for the October swap over at ALI'S ATC SWAP-STOP where this months theme was SPOOKED!.

The papers are from my scraps box and the image which I have coloured with Promarkers is a stamp from a Penny Black set called ~ Be Very Scared. I have die cut the letters from a Tim Holtz Alterations die cut alphabet called ~ Upon a Time.

Thank you for stopping by.

CHRISTMAS CRACKER

Afternoon everyone....I hope you are all having a lovely, relaxing Sunday. Its very quiet here today as they are all at work and as all the house work is done I thought I'd spend a few hours in the craft room....well tidying it anyway....

I was having a clean around and realised that I hadn't shown this Christmas Cracker that I made last year for a competition....

Unfortunately the competition was cancelled but secretly I was quite pleased as I was a little reluctant to part with the cracker...you see we were going to put a little gift inside and swap them with the other entrants but I had grown attached to my cracker and am pleased I was able to keep it.....although to be truthful its just sat here gathering dust.

I followed the instructions from one of the Magnolia Ink magazines last year on how to make it and I really enjoyed myself. The papers are Bo Bunny and the image is a Gorguss stamp called Foxy from Sugar Nellie. I coloured the image with Distress Inks and then just embellished with ribbon, flowers, die cut snowflakes, brads, charms and pearls.

I have toyed with the idea of making one for each member of  the family to have on the table with a small gift in on Christmas Day but we shall have to see about that.....

Thank you for stopping by.

MY MUM

Hello everyone....I must apologise to everyone for being such a bad blogger this week and not getting round to visit and comment on all your wonderful creations....the truth is I have been so busy, three evenings out this week and back to work after having such a horrible cold....I was just too tired and there really aren't enough hours in the day.....I'm so sorry.

I would also like to say 'Hello and Welcome' to my new followers and to thank everyone who visits my blog for such lovely comments....they are very much appreciated especially as my inspiration has been very lacking of late.

Today I have a scrapbook page to show that I have just completed.....'what again....'so unlike me.

I have started at another scrapbooking class at one of my local craft shops as the one I used to go to on a Saturday morning has discontinued....my new class is one evening in the week and fits in perfectly with all my other commitments. Polly teaches the class, and this is what she taught us this week....Polly is so talented and designs such beautiful pages for us. This page was perfect for a photo that I had of my mum when she was a little girl....I'm sure my mum will be thrilled to see this picture of herself here....NOT!!!! Sorry mum xx

Thank you for stopping by.

PURPLE AUTUMN FAIRY

Morning everyone....It looks as though its going to be another lovely day here....a bit brisk but the sun is out.

Earlier this week my grumpy Westie, Bertie had to have a short stay at the vets as he ripped one of his back claws while out in the garden and had to have it removed....I must say he was grumpier than ever and feeling very sorry for himself.....

As you can see not very happy....but yesterday as the weather was so beautiful, sunny and warm and the bandages were off we took him out for his first walk...along the sea front, not through the woods as we normally do and he was fine....still grumpy but Hey Ho the boy is back....

Well I have another card to share today....I have made this as a 'Thank You' card for a friend of mine.

The image is called Purple Autumn from Sweet pea stamps....I seem to be amassing a collection of these lovely stamps but I think they are beautiful and so nice to colour. I have coloured with Promarkers. The papers {I think} are from Basic Grey but I can't honestly remember....'Sorry'. The leaves and flowers are various punches I've picked up over the years and the clock face is Tim Holtz. As always I have finished off with some Stickles and pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

WISHES FOR KISSES

Morning everyone....what a beautiful day, its cold outside but we have glorious warm sunshine and I noticed a little bit of frost on the shed roof when I got up....

I love Autumn, it is easily my favourite time of the year....

Today I have another Christmas card to share...

The layout for my card came from Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.

The image is another stamp I've had for a very long time from Penny Black called Wishes For Kisses. The papers are from an old Dovecraft paper pad called Noel that I bought half price in a sale last year. The snowflake, leaves and flower are all Marianne Creatables. I've just added a few pearls and some Stickles for the snowy bits.

THE CHRISTMAS POST

Good afternoon everyone....well I'm happy to report that I'm finally feeling much better today just a bit of earache to fight off now. I actually managed to get seven hours sleep last night which is not my usual....I'm lucky if I manage to sleep five hours a night normally.

Anyway I have a card to share today....yet another Christmas card to cross off my list.

The image is a stamp from Penny Black called Royal Mail. I've had this stamp for years and it is an old faithful that gets used again and again. The papers are from a paper pad from Authentique called Wonder. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and used a Marianne Creatable die for the leaves. I've then just added a few punched flowers and finished off with....yes you've guessed it, my usual touch of Stickles on the snowy bits and pearls from the Hobby House.

THE CLOCKWORK FROG

Hello everyone....I would just like to say a huge 'Thank You' to everyone for their lovely comments and well wishes....I am beginning to feel much better now and the headache and rotten earache are improving.

I haven't managed much in the way of crafting as I haven't felt like it but I do have a card to share today as I had quite a few images that I had stamped out and coloured in previously.

The image is a House Mouse stamp called Giddyup which I have coloured with Promarkers and the papers are from a Basic Grey paper pad called Perhaps. The ribbon and the buttons are from my stash. I've just added a little Stickles to the little key on the clockwork frog and some Glossy Accents to the eyes of the mouse and frog to finish off.

LITTLE ROBIN

Afternoon everyone.....its a miserable, drizzly day today and I have a very quick post as I'm going back to bed. I thought I was getting over my cold until this morning when....'Wham'....headache, earache and a high temperature, I don't know whether I'm hot or cold and I'm feeling really grotty but never mind me I'm only feeling sorry for myself....so on to the card that I had already made.

I followed a sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge. The image is a Penny Black stamp called Xmas Kiss. I have coloured with Promarkers and used Marianne Creatable dies to cut out the flowers and the leaves. The sentiment is from LOTV and the pearls are from the Hobby House. The papers are just scraps from my scrap box.

BLACK AND WHITE CHRISTMAS

Morning everyone.....Well it's a cold, wet day today so staying in the craft room sounds good to me I think....

First I would like to say 'Hello and Welcome' to all my new followers, I'm glad you could join me on my 'Craft Adventure' and also 'Thank You' to everyone who has wished me well....I'm beginning to feel much better now.

Today I have a card to share, not my usual style but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

The image is a Stampendous stamp called 'Winter Sprite' that I've had for years which has sat patiently on the shelf gathering dust. The papers are DCWV~ Black and White Prints. I have stamped and heat embossed the image with sparkly black embossing powder and added extra glitter and gems. The snowflakes are various punches with crystals at the centres. I have finished off by adding some black gem brads, pearl and diamante pins and a little ribbon.

CHRISTMAS ATC's

Morning everyone....just a quick post today as I'm absolutely full of a cold and feeling proper fed up with myself but wanted to share these ATC's that I made for a Christmas ATC swap over at CHRISTMAS CRAFTING! last month...

I made the reindeer and Santas using Quickutz dies that I'd actually forgotten  I had. The papers are leftovers from my scraps box and the sentiment is LOTV.  I've finished off using bits of ribbon, small buttons and gems.

Thank you for stopping by.

MAKE A SPLASH

Evening everyone....I hope you are all well.

Tonight I'd like to show the ATC's I made for ALI'S ATC SWAP~STOP last month. The theme was 'Make A Splash'...

I must admit I was a bit stumped at first but this is what I eventually came up with. The image is of course Tilda from Magnolia. I coloured her with Promarkers and all the papers are off cuts from my scraps box. I love ATC's as they are a way of using up those little left over bits and pieces. I then cut some wave shapes using an old Sizzix die and bits of blue paper and Stickled the edges, finishing off with some gems.

I'm really looking forward to my swaps arriving....its always interesting to see how other crafters have interpreted the theme.

Thank you for stopping by.
