You've Passed!

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I'm afraid I'm late again today with my creation. I should have posted this little card yesterday but I forgot to schedule it as I was away in Manchester and have just arrived home. We went to the Lowry to see Matthew Bourne's ~ Lord Of The Flies. It was fabulous and we had a lovely family weekend.

Anyway I'm here to remind you about this month's challenge over at

The Hobby House

Our theme this month is

ANYTHING GOES
(Using one of the new toppers)

And here is my creation

I used this fabulous topper from Kenny K ~ All Rounders. I thought it was a perfect image for a boy/young man for passing a driving test. The papers are from my stash......I'm not sure what make they are but they worked really well with the colours of the topper. I added pearls and some cogs and wheels from The Hobby House to complete this card and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out as I don't do boy's cards well as a rule. The sentiment is computer generated.

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog and take a peek at the gorgeous creations the rest of the DT have made for your inspiration.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Happy Mother's Day

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well and that all you fabulous mum's are having a wonderful day.

My beautiful daughter Brogan (yes I know I'm biased....I am her mother after all)

Bought me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.....two boxes of chocolates (I know) she knows one wouldn't last me too long.....the full Dracula (10 episode) dvd box set and a POP! figurine of the Khal Drogo character from Game Of Thrones.....

Yes my daughter knows me so well......

I am going to save the DVD Dracula series for when we go to Whitby......the perfect place to watch this given the caravan sits in the shadows of Whitby Abbey.

Today I would like to share the card and yet another peg note holder that I made for my mum.

The image on the card is a Pion image I think.....I've had these for so long I never thought I would get round to using them.....but with all the lace, pearls and pearls strings that were strewn across my desk and lots of inspiration from lots of gorgeous blogs I came up with this card.

I have to say a huge 'Thank you' to the fabulously talented 'Nic' for her amazing inspirational creations over on her blog. Such a talented lady.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I have a birthday card to share that I made for a very special and kind hearted lady, my ex~Mother~in~law who has always been there for me, helping me with caring for Brogan and has been so supportive and generous over the years.

Thank you Jean.....I know I haven't always said this as often as I should have done.

Here is my card

I also made a huge peg note holder to match the card

The little decoupaged image is from Sarah Kay and the papers are DCWV ~ Linen Closet. I love the colours of these beautiful papers. The flowers are from The Hobby House and Wild Orchid Crafts. I added some decorative pins in matching colours to the peg and this gorgeous spotty ribbon, pearls and flower button to the card from the Hobby House.

Golf Champ....

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Just a quick post tonight to share a card that I made recently.

I made this as part of yet another set.

The papers are from my stash and the image is from a Kenny K Topper Set~ All Rounders. These are fabulous images for boys and I really enjoyed using these toppers to create cards, bookmarks, door hangers and gift tags......all of which I will be posting here on my blog over the next few weeks or so. I added some cork alphabet tiles, ribbon and a charm to finish off.

Thank you so much for taking the time to pop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely comments.

Have a lovely evening.
