Good morning everyone. I hope you are all well.
This is the first of 4 posts I have today.
Well I really can't believe it's Friday again...not that I'm complaining but the 1st June, where did that come from!!!!.....
It's time once again for another challenge over at Winter Wonderland.
Our theme this week is:~
HOLLY
And here is my DT card.
This week we are sponsored by Crafter's Companion
who are offering the lucky winner a £10 voucher.
I hope you are able to join us this week. Please pop over to the main challenge blog and see what the rest of the team have created....we look forward to seeing all your 'Holly' inspired projects.
The image on my card is from Penny Black ~ A Thorny Affair and I've coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from my stash and the flowers are from The Hobby House....I've had these stuck in a drawer forever and I thought I would allow them the light of day for this project. I've added some Card Candi and a little Stickles to finish off.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:~
Craftyhazelnut's Challenge ~ # 74 ~ Christmas Foliage

The brads and pearls are from The Hobby House and the sentiment is computer generated. I have finished off with a little Stickles for the belt and some Glossy Accents to the sun~glasses.

Good morning everyone.
It looks as though it's going to be another beautiful sunny day.
Up early (as usual)...Going to take the dogs for a run in the woods before it gets too warm and then we're going to give the loft, which has been converted into an office a quick lick of emulsion, then hopefully I can get some crafting done this afternoon before going to my parent's for dinner.
I just wanted to tell you about a little problem I've had with a certain little critter.
This is my lovely little car which I've been having a spot of bother with......
You see...she has had a little visitor under the bonnet....which I'm told by my wonderful mechanic has done untold amounts of damage.....The 'mouse' had made a meal out of a bundle of wires which has resulted in a new alternator, a battery and a regulator not to mention a re~wiring job. It has cost me a fortune but happily we are now reunited and back on the road.
To add insult to injury my mechanic found a very tiny(empty) nest tucked under the engine while he was working so they have been having free trips all over town too!!!!
Anyway the engine has now been sprayed with a mouse deterrent and hopefully they won't come back.
Luckily I have a very big sense of humour(which is a good job) but we did think the fact that the car was covered in butterflies and daisies may have added to the problem....
The flowers were left on the car after Brogan's Prom last year....partly because she loves them and partly because she is having the car when she learns to drive.
I promise I'm working on things(craft~wise) but nothing to show today.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a fabulous Sunday.
Good evening everyone.
I hope you have all had a share of the lovely sunny weather today.
I don't have any crafty projects to share this evening but I do have some exciting news to share.I have been lucky enough to be chosen to join A Gem Of A Challenge Design Team.
I'm absolutely thrilled to bits and so excited.
I am so looking forward to meeting the rest of the team and getting to know them.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a lovely evening.
Good morning everyone.
I hope you are all well this lovely, sunny Saturday.
First I would like to say 'Hello and Welcome' to my new followers. Thank you so much for joining me on my crafting journey....Wow!!! I can't believe I have 300 followers. I would also like to say sorry to everyone for not getting around to their blogs this week.....I will try and catch up with you all this weekend.
To be truthful I've been having a few issues with muscle pain this week, particularly my neck and shoulders so it has held me back somewhat....but hopefully it will improve soon.
I have a couple more of my unfinished journal pages to show today.....these are from what I call my practise journal.
I love the way the paints and inks worked on these pages so I will try and recreate them in my main journal which I plan to use for my hols.
This page I created while watching the fabulous Kate Crane's DVD.....I worked directly from her instructions or in my case.....Destructions. But I'm really happy with how it came together.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful Saturday.
Good evening everyone.
I hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely sunshine....At last!!!!
Today I have a card to share...
I was at a friend's recently and we were stamping out various images and having a play with pens and pencils. As usual I didn't finish the project....because we just end up chatting....so I sat and put this card together last night.....and Brogan has just laid claim to it as she needed a birthday card for the weekend.
That didn't last long did it?....
The paper is from my scrap box....I think it's Kaisercraft ~ Lilac Avenue Collection. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. The little heart buttons and pearls are from The Hobby House and I've finished off with lots of Stickles.....
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~
Creative Inspirations Challenge ~ # 164 ~ Anything GoesRobyn's Fetish Challenge ~ # 108 ~ Anything GoesThe Craft Place Challenge ~ Monochromatic
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a lovely evening.
Good evening everyone.
Tonight I'd like to share some of the pages I created while messing about with inks, paints and sprays.
These were created after attending a class in Harrogate at Art From The Heart with the fabulous Kate Crane.
This first page was actually done while I was in the class....but it's not finished yet!!!
I created these next few pages at home and they are really experimental pages.
The idea is, if I like any of the results of these pages I'll 'Try' to recreate them in my main journal.
These are just the start of the pages....I know they look a little boring at the moment but I have lots of elements yet to be added.....such as stamping, collage, journalling, doodling, rub~ons etc....
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a lovely evening.
