Button Or Bow

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I'm a bit late posting this card as I was at work all day yesterday and then when I got home we all went out to our church hall to their annual Christmas do.....with family and friends.

Anyway the reason I'm here is that we have a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas Challenge

and our theme this month is

Button Or Bow

Here is my DT card

This month we are sponsored by

Joanna Sheen

With a £10 voucher for 1 lucky winner.

Don't forget to pop along to the main challenge blog and have a look at all the lovely Christmas creations the rest of the DT have made for your inspiration. We look forward to seeing all your Christmas makes.....remember for this challenge you can create anything you like as long as it's a Christmas make and it follows the theme.

For my card I had a bit of a play using my Distress Inks....which I haven't done for ages. The image is from Crafty Individuals. The papers are from my scraps box and I mounted my image and papers on black and silver sparkly card. The pearls are from The Hobby House as always and the little bow is from my local craft shop.....I finished off with some Stickles for some added sparkle.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Totally Gorjuss ~ # 160 ~ Anything Goes ~ With Glitter
Fussy And Fancy Friday ~ # 77 ~ I Love Christmas

A Paper ~ Pieced Mimi.....

Good evening everyone.

Today we are half way through our challenge over at

A Gem Of A Challenge

And our theme this time is

Paper Piecing

And here is my DT card

This time it was my turn to pick the theme for the challenge and I thought paper piecing was a good idea but I must admit to being a little stumped to start with, but I got there in the end.

For my card I chose this sweet digi image from Pink Gem Designs called Mimi In Hat And Coat. I coloured the image with Promarkers and the papers are from Kanban ~ Deck The Halls. I paper pieced her hat, coat and boots. The lace, brad, spacer and pearls are from The Hobby House and the sentiment is computer generated. The large snowflake is from Martha Stewart.

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog and take a peek at all the lovely paper pieced creations the rest of the DT have made.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great evening.

Unfortunately I'm at work all day tomorrow so no crafting time for me this weekend.
