I made this card using this cute little image which I coloured with Distress Markers. The paper is from my stash and is actually purple although it looks more blue in this terrible photograph. The pearl swirls are from The Hobby House and the snowflakes, buttons and ribbon are from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

Better Late Than Never......

Hi everyone.
I hope you are all well.
Well I have a confession to make......apart from the fact I'm a rubbish blogger at the moment I also appear to be technically challenged too. I had scheduled some posts before my holiday (or thought I had) and when I got home they hadn't posted.......I could blame it all on Mr Blogger but I think it was more than likely down to me......

Holidays........

Good evening everyone.
I hope you are all well.
Well I'm finally getting back into the swing of things after my holiday.....and back at work already.....well you have to go back to pay for the next adventure don't you. And an adventure it was!!!!!!!!
I have a few crafty items on my desk at the moment but nothing to share as of yet, so here are just a few photos......

These are only a few of my photos and I will add more over the next week or so. 
We had a fabulous holiday and visited.......Gibraltar....(we had to abandon Corfu as our ship answered a distress call....and The Crown Princess was involved in a Humanitarian Emergency Rescue). We visited Dubrovnik and Koper where we were caught in a 75 knot wind and the ship listed quite alarmingly and we had to wait several hours for the wind to drop before we could get into the harbour to dock. We also visited Valletta in Malta, Venice and Cadiz. 
We had an amazing time and many adventures making wonderful friends along the way. Cruising really is the only way to travel for me and I don't even mind the wind or the rocky seas!!!!!!

Paris Travel Journal

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are all well.
Well I noted a cool crispness to the air this morning when I let Bertie out so I think September has most definitely arrived.
I have another little journal to share today.
A couple of weeks ago I shared a much larger journal that I had been asked to make for a lady who is visiting from America....taking in London and Paris along the way. Well we found out that she will be travelling with a friend and not wanting to leave her out I was asked to make another, smaller journal and here it is......

I bought the front and the back cover in a pack years ago and they have sat quietly tucked away in the back of the cupboard waiting patiently to be used......and luckily for a change I remembered that they were there.

I added lots of pockets and tabs and secret journalling flaps.....then finished off with paper~clips, ribbons and charms.

I'm hoping she likes it.

Christening Day

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are all well.
It's a little dull and overcast here this morning but hey ho it's better than rain I guess.
Today I have another card to share.
This time I was asked to make a Christening card.
A while ago I was lucky enough to win some digi images from Di's Digi Stamps and I chose this very cute image called Christening Bears which I thought was perfect for my card.

I coloured the image with both Promarkers and Copics and as I wanted to keep it relatively simple I skipped designer papers and settled for some pink Bazzil Basics and some glittery white card for the base and embellishments. I added some die cut corners and created the flowers by using various sized retro flower punches and trimmimg the petals on the largest flower to create a different shape. I just finished off by adding pearls.....my favourite embellishments from The Hobby House.

Baking Bear

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are well.
Today I have a card to share that I was asked to make by a work colleague who wanted a birthday card for her little boy to give to his Nana.....and Nana bakes a lot!!!! So I thought this was the perfect image for the card.

The image is called Busy Baking from LOTV and I'm ashamed to admit that I've had this stamp for ages and have never got round to inking it up......Shame On Me!!!!.  I coloured the cute image using Distress Markers. The papers are from Pretty Please by MME and I got them free in a magazine a year or so ago. I tried to keep this card quite simple and just added pearls and some punched flowers to finish off. Oh and my colleague wanted me to add the word 'Nana' somewhere on the card.
I hope I met the brief anyway.
