Good morning everyone....
Well I'm loving this 'drought' we're having.....or 'Liquid Sunshine' as my dad often calls it....rain, rain and more rain....but the garden is looking very fresh and green and hopefully our reservoirs are filling up nicely. And I'm sure the ducks are loving it......
Today I have a card to share....at last.

Don't you just adore these naughty mice.
The image is a House Mouse stamp called Java Jumpers. The papers are from BasicGrey Picadilly. I have coloured using Promarkers and just added a sentiment from LOTV and the pearls as ever are from The Hobby House.

Scrapbook Smile

Good evening everyone.
I hope you are all well. 
I'm still running about like a headless chicken and I'm working the weekend too this week....but I have just managed to find the time to finish this scrapbook page that has been sat on my desk for weeks.

This is a photograph of my daughter Brogan taken in the park last year just before going off to her Prom.
I'm sorry again about the poor photo....I'm just really struggling with my new Photoshop program....Picnik was so much easier but alas it has gone:)....so I will just have to keep playing about until I get it right.

Has Anyone Seen My Mojo?.....

Good morning everyone.....I hope you are all well.
I would like to apologise for not visiting you all recently and my lack of posts....unfortunately life has caught up with me over the last few weeks and my Mojo has done another runner.
Well this is not strictly true.....Since I went to Harrogate last month for a class with the very talented Kate Crane I am well and truly hooked on Art Journalling and I haven't seen the kitchen table in almost a month as it is covered with journals, paint, inks etc.....nothing to show at the minute but I'm working on it......Lots of crafty mistakes but as Kate says.....'There are no mistakes in art'......and believe me I repeat this to myself on a regular basis......and you would too if you saw the mess I make......
Kate you have created a 'Monster'....a messy one at that!!!!!
I do have a card to share although I'm not too happy with it really.

The image is from Wild Rose Studio ~ Fergus with Teddy and the papers are also Wild Rose Studio ~ Bella. I have coloured with Promarkers and added some computer generated 'Happy Birthdays' and some pearls from The Hobby House.
Sorry about this awful pic, I'm struggling with my new Photoshop program but 'Hey Ho' I'll get the hang of it....eventually.

For my card I have used one of  their fabulous stamps....I love this little chap and his dog, they are just so cute. I have coloured using my Promarkers and the papers were from my stack of scraps. The border punch is from Martha Stewart. I have added some twine and a few buttons and some Stickles to finish off.

For my card I used this lovely image from LOTV  and the papers are Archaic from BasicGrey. I have coloured using Promarkers and finished off with a little chalk around the Nestie die~cut with the image on and added pearls from The Hobby House. The sentiment is computer generated.
I have to say that I don't make many male cards but I really enjoyed creating this one and have challenged myself to make at least one a month.....so watch this space!!!!!

Peaches And Cream

This is just a quick post to share this very simple card I made.....had a very long shift today at work.

Sorry about the terrible photo....and I've just noticed its wonky.....no matter!!!!
The image is from a set of Kanban stamps (I think).....coloured with Promarkers. The papers are from Kanban. I have used a Nestie and a Martha Stewart border punch and added a sparkly Cheery Lynn die~cut butterfly and of course my favourite embellishments....pearls.

Lilac Wedding

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you are all well. Well I'm back to work tomorrow....I don't know where the last week has gone. I didn't get half the things done that I wanted to do and did lots of things I hadn't planned to do but I'm up to date now with all my DT work and I've finished all the cards I was asked to make so that's an achievement in its self.....for me anyway!!!!.
I was asked by a friend at work to make a wedding card and this is what I came up with.

I hope it's ok as she didn't give me any specific details other than 'just a wedding card'....no colour, size or anything to go on.....so I just went ahead with my own free will.
The image is LOTV....I think this was one of my first LOTV stamps. I've coloured with Promarkers and used some Nesties and a border punch from Martha Stewart. I embossed the backing card as I didn't want to use any design papers for this card. The sentiment is LOTV and the pearls are from The Hobby House.
