Vintage Greens

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I have another 'Vintage' style creation to share.

I have to say that I am not completely happy with this card but it's growing on me.

I love all the papers, flowers and embellishments on this card, which are all from The Hobby House, I just feel that I have missed something. (The image is from a sheet of images that I picked up at a show but I can't remember the make.......sorry!).

Thank you for taking the time to pop by.

Have a lovely day.

Happy Birthday ~ Vintage Style & An Apology........

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Wouldn't you just know it......My weekend off work and someone has stolen the 'Sun', now isn't that just typical, but at least I couldn't use the sunshine as an excuse to avoid the housework.....mores the pity!!!!

First I would like to apologise to all my followers and friends out there in blog land for being a very bad blogger of late. I know I have lost a few of you along the way and I would like to 'Thank' those of you who have stuck with me no matter that I haven't always commented on your beautiful blogs and creations but I have had so much going on at home with one thing and another. Hopefully things are settling down now and I can get back to crafting and blogging and normal service will resume.

Today I have card to share. I made this for a friend who's birthday it was recently.

Most of the items I used to make this card are from The Hobby House from their Elegant Card Making Kit, the only other items I added were the gems also from The Hobby House and some die cut leaves.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Charisma Cardz ~ # 28 ~ Girly
Lady Anne's Challenges ~ # 4 ~ Monochrome

Thank you for taking the time to drop by.

Have a lovely Sunday.

Hobby House Vintage Challenge Midway Reminder

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I'm here to remind you about The Hobby House Challenge.

The theme this time around is

VINTAGE

And the prize is £25(not including postage) from

The Hobby House

And here is my vintage creation

Now I have to admit that vintage is not my normal style and I really struggle with it but I had a go.

Hobby House Products Used:~

Hobby House ~ Spring Damask Paper
Hobby House  ~ Cameo ~ Ladies Oval Small (Olive Green)
Hobby House ~ Mulberry Roses (Various sizes & Colours)
Hobby House ~  Pin Wheel (Elegant Teardrop)
Hobby House ~ Pearl String Collection

The giant peg was from The Craft Barn and makes an ideal note holder. I bought about ten of these quite a while ago and they have been hiding away in one of my craft drawers for months. I added some Distress Ink to the edges of the peg and finished with a swirly die cut.

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog and take a peek at the rest of the DT's Vintage creations.

I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges:~

Brown Sugar ~ # 51 ~ Anything Goes
Anything Goes Challenge ~ # 97 ~ Anything Goes
Crafts & Me ~ # 138 ~ Anything Goes
Simply Create Too ~ # 42 ~ Anything But A Card
Through The Craftroom Door ~ Anything Goes

Thank you for taking the time to drop by.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart and the stars are Nestability dies. I added some navy blue pearls and a computer generated sentiment to complete my creation.

Cameo

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I just wanted to share a quick card with you that I made with the scraps I had left over after completing another project. It's a very simple card and although I'm quite pleased with the effect I keep wanting to add 'something' to the bottom left hand corner......but I'm trying to resist the temptation..........

All the items I used can be found at The Hobby House except the sentiment which is a stamp from Hero Arts ~ Your History.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a lovely day.

The cracker template was from a set I won some time ago which can be purchased from Which Craft.
