Polly Will Be Proud!!!...

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are all well this chilly Sunday morning.
Today I have something a bit different to share......Well different for me at least.
Last year, my very talented and fabulously creative friend Polly challenged me to join in with  Kate Crane's  365 Calendar Journal.....which I did for about two months and then I was left well and truly by the wayside. Well this year I decided that I would try again......so here goes!!!!
JANUARY

Now please be kind as this really isn't my type of thing.....or so I thought....in fact I can't draw or paint to save myself but after attending a class with Kate last March at Art From The Heart I think I am well and truly hooked. I don't always know what I'm doing and it never seems to turn out how I imagine but as Kate says......
"There are no mistakes in art"
so I guess I'm ok then as I seem to make endless mistakes....
I also love getting all messy and inky which I never thought would be me at all....
BUT IT IS.......
I am adding my January journal pages to Kate Crane's 365 Journal Challenge.
Now I just need to fill in each day of my journal.....easy!

A New Baby

Good morning everyone.
Today we are halfway through our challenge over at

For this card I used this lovely digi image from Pink Gem Designs called Baby Girl ~ Sleeping Teddy. She is just so sweet and so easy to colour. I used my ever faithful Promarkers to colour and my favourite papers from Craft Creations Ltd. I used a Nestie for the mat and added lots of Stickles to the cloud and buttons and pearls from my stash.

For The Birds....

Hello everyone.
I was meant to post this earlier.....better late than never.....
Today we have a new challenge over at

For my card I used this sweet image from Robyn's Fetish called 'Waking Up Birdie'. I coloured using Promarkers and the papers are from my stash....I'm on a roll using up bits of paper from my stash.....a New Year's Resolution.....we'll see how long that lasts!!!! The crochet flower and the ribbon were part of a Christmas gift from Arline....I just love the colours of the flower. (Thank you Arline). I used various die~cuts and Nesties and finished off with pearls and some Stickles.

I used lots of Kraft card too but it never seems to look right when I add it to my cards....I'm not really sure why. The lace, pearls, brad and spacer are from The Hobby House.

12 Tags Of 2013 ~ January

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are all well.
Well I've taken the plunge and decided to go on a crafting journey with Mr Tim Holtz and his  '12 Tags Of 2013' adventure.

I was inspired to do this after seeing the fabulous tag created by the incredibly talented Kath.
This is not my usual crafty adventure I might add but I thought I would have a bash and as its a monthly challenge I thought I might be able to keep up to date....Yes I know Polly!!!!... I was rubbish at keeping up with Kate's journal last year but I plan to rectify that this time around......Umm what have I just said!!!!!!
I keep saying I'll join in with the '12 Tags Of Christmas' but it always seems to pass me by...so hopefully I can keep up to date with this challenge......yeah right!!!
So here's the tag I made 

I didn't have all the crafty items required for the job but I improvised as I went along.....I can't tell you how excited I was when I actually had something that Mr Holtz had used.....but I guess thats the idea and I had great fun creating my little tag.

Little Flower....

Good evening everyone.
At last a card to share.....
Unfortunately 2013 hasn't started quite as I had hoped.....but hey~ho never mind.

I've had this little gem stamped up for ages and thought it was about time she had a home. This image is called Mimosa ~ Autumn Walk.....from Bildmalarna although I've coloured her in lovely 'Spring' colours....I coloured with Promarkers and used Kraft and papers from my stash. The flower is WOC (I think)...and I've used various die~cuts from Marianne Creatables for the leaves. The pearls are as always from The Hobby House.
