The Harbour Master

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well and this awful rain isn't causing you too much trouble.

It's my day off  today and it's raining.....AGAIN!!!!! so after doing all my jobs and running errands I holed myself up in my little craft den and attacked my list of DT cards that I had to do, listening to the Bee Gees (Polly....that's your fault).....and I even had time to read a few chapters of 'That' book too (well I wanted to know what all the fuss was about).

Anyway I also have a card to share too.....

This image is one of five that I picked up....(I just had to have them you see). This one is called The Harbour Master by Michael Powell. For years I've gone to stitching shows and admired his designs in needlework but now I can stamp these images out to my hearts content.

I have coloured using Promarkers and the papers are Best Of British from Docrafts. The pearls and the helm charm are from The Hobby House. The trim at the bottom of the card is from Bo Bunny, I've had it for years.....it was part of a scrapbooking kit that I never used.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Cards For Men ~ # 14 ~ Happy Birthday
Scrappy Frogs ~ Red, White & Blue
Divas By Design ~ # 42 ~ Red,White & Blue

Have a lovely evening.

I will try and get round to commenting soon....I've been having a few problems with my laptop but hopefully things are back to normal now.

Brogan's Journal Pages

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Its been another miserable day here but Hey~Ho I was stuck inside at work anyway so I didn't miss anything......

Today I would like to share a few of the journal pages my daughter Brogan created a few weeks ago. We spent an afternoon messing around with inks and sprays and I had a spare sketch book and this is what she came up with......

This was her first page....

And these were her next two pages....

These were her first attempts at journal pages and to say I was wee bit jealous was an understatement.

Clever Madam.....

We had great fun and made loads of mess but who cares when this is the result.

I think she will have to give me a few tips.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a lovely evening.

This month we are celebrating our first birthday over at Christmas Crafting-where has the time gone! Thanks to all of you who have taken part in the last 12 months and we hope we can count on you for your continued support. As part of our celebrations we have decided to have a blog hop around our very talented Design Team! We have four prizes up for grabs so definitely worth taking part! If you have arrived here from Meg's blog then you are hopping in the right direction. If not then please return to the Christmas Crafting! blog to start again.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning one of these fabulous prizes is to visit each blog in order, leaving a comment as you go, and then return to the Christmas Crafting Challenge blog and leave a final comment letting us know what you love about Christmas. On 1st August we will randomly draw four comments to win the prize.

Good luck and thanks for joining us at Christmas Crafting this month.
