Here is my DT card

The image is Simply Sassy called Spread Your Wings and I have coloured using my very trusty Promarkers. The papers are Papermania ~ The Rose Garden....my favourite. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls, lace and diamante and pearl swirl embellishment are from The Hobby House.

Well...Hello In There!!!

Evening everyone....I don't normally post this late in the evening but I have a card to share.

I'm sorry about the terrible photo, I'm afraid the light wasn't good....nothing to do with my photography skills then!!!
The image I have used is from Penny Black and is called 'Hello Dear'.  I bought this stamp ages ago and I've never used it before.  I coloured with Promarkers and the papers were a freebie from a magazine sometime last year....My Mind's Eye ~ Pretty Please.  I used a deep trellis border punch from Martha Stewart and added various punched flowers, a sentiment from LOTV and my favourite embellishments....pearls.

Pretty As A Picture...

Good morning everyone.....what a miserable, wet day it is here....
Its my day off  and I was supposed to be spending the day with my parents in Lincoln but instead I'm stuck in waiting for a parcel to arrive....but I'm sure the parcel will be worth the wait....watch this space.....!!!! Never mind though we can go to Lincoln on my day off next week.
Today I have a completed scrapbook page to share....

This page/layout was taught by the incredibly talented Polly at my local scrapbook class. Polly is such anenthusiastic and inspirational crafter that you can't help but feel inspired by her wonderful ideas. Thanks Polly....I love this page.
For this page Polly asked us to pick three different pieces of 12 x 12 paper....usually the papers are already chosen for the class....so at this point I would normally be Umming and Ahhing....but No!! I went straight out, picked my papers and came back and sat at my seat.....very unlike me but one of my New Years resolutions is to try and be a bit more spontaneous in my crafting and I must admit I'm thrilled with my finished page.
The photo of my daughter was taken in the park last summer just before she went off to her Prom.

Good afternoon everyone.....I hope you are all well today. Its really windy here....I just hate the wind and as everyone is out today I'm tucked up in my little craft room trying to ignore the gale blowing through the trees outside.
Today I have a card to share....at last!!!

The image is House Mouse....I love these cheeky little mice and I've coloured them using Promarkers. The papers are some of my favourites from Papermania called Rose Garden....The sentiment is from LOTV and I've finished off by adding my usual Stickles and pearls.

Tea For Two.....

Good evening everyone.....I hope you are well and keeping warm.
Today I have another card to share....my mum asked me to make a birthday card for her friend and I thought this image was perfect.

I love this stamp although I'm ashamed to admit that this is the first time I have actually inked it up.....how naughty am I then....bad crafter!!!! The image is a Penny Black stamp called Tea Cozy. I have coloured using Promarkers. The sentiment is LOTV and I have embellished with roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, punched leaves and pearls from the Hobby House.

My First DT Card For Sparkles....

Good morning and what a beautiful frosty morning it is too....perfect for staying in my little craft room me thinks......

WINTER WONDERLAND....MY 1ST DT CARD

Hi everyone....


Today I have some more exciting news to share....I was lucky enough to be chosen to join the DT at Winter Wonderland and this is my 1st DT card. The theme this week is 'A Birthday Card' and here is my little creation.

For my card I have used this cute image from The Emerald Faerie Garden called 'Ebony'....how cute is she!!!.....I coloured the image using my trusty Promarkers and the papers are First Edition Papers....Desert Blooms. The rose ribbon strip, pearls and gems are from The Hobby House and the sentiment is LOTV. I have added Stickles to the little fairy's wings to finish off.
