WOULD ANYONE LIKE TO JOIN IN?....

Good evening everyone....I hope you are all well today.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me and a few like minded crafters in a monthly ATC swap.....

Every month I like to join in over at Ali's ATC Swap~Stop to make and swap ATC's.....unfortunately over the last few month's our numbers have dwindled somewhat and we are now down to 5 regular swappers and if we drop to less than 5 we would have to abandon the swap......or end up getting our own ATC's back....

ATC's are a great way of using up those scraps we all have lying around and its really lovely when a nice, fat envelope drops on your mat with your ATC swaps in. Another great thing which I love is to see how everyone interprets the month's theme differently.

Here are a few of the ATC's that I have made for past swaps.

If you would like to make and swap some ATC's with us pop over to Ali's ATC Swap~Stop and have a look around and if you would like to join in just leave a comment for Ali.

Thank you for stopping by.

I'M STILL HERE....HONEST!!!

Hello everyone......

I just want to say a huge 'SORRY' to you all for not commenting on your lovely creations and my lack of posts recently.

Things have been rather busy both at home and at work since Christmas plus I'm trying to get to grips with my new laptop, which was a surprise Christmas present from the amazing and wonderful man in my life (he'll like that bit when he reads my blog)......'Yes Hun' I do know you read it........

I would also like to say 'Hello' to my new followers.....sorry there hasn't been much to see of late but I am working on a few projects.

I've also been struggling with a few blogging issues.....I've been trying to schedule a post but nothing is happening....I'm not sure if its me or blogger but the very lovely Kate is coming to the rescue this weekend to see if or what I'm doing wrong.

I will be back tomorrow with some news and a card to share.

Thank you for stopping by.

UP TO DATE....FINALLY

Good morning everyone.....

At last I have managed to complete the spring cleaning on my computer and I have found two more cards that I forgot to share last year.

Both are decoupage cards and were fairly simple to make up but still enjoyable to make.

The first card was for my partners dad who plays bowls.....I found it really difficult to find anything suitable until I came upon this decoupage sheet....unfortunately the photo isn't very good so the decoupage looks quite flat.

The second card was made just so I could have a play and see how the twisted effect worked using decoupage.

Both of these cards were great to make up especially when time was limited.

Have a lovely Sunday.

Thank you for stopping by.

WITH A HEART

Good afternoon everyone.....I hope you are all well.

Well I have some more good news to share. The lovely Kate and Marianne from Winter Wonderland have offered me a place on their DT and I have said 'Yes'. I hope I don't let them down....I'm really thrilled to have been asked and can't wait for my first challenge.....

This afternoon I have been trying to tidy things up on my computer and look what I found that I had forgotten to share....

I made this heart shaped box at a class at one of my local craft shops way back last year, about February time and I've just had a quick look through my blog and I can't believe I forgot to share it.....especially as it sits on my dressing table and I look at it every day.

The class was taught by the very talented Jane of Jane's Lovely Cards.....it was quite fiddly to make but I had a great time making it but I'm afraid to say that although it is a gift box there is no way I will be parting with it any time soon.

Thank you for stopping by.

MY FAVOURITE FIVE CARDS OF 2011!!!

Evening everyone.....I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and I look forward to seeing all your fabulous creations in 2012.....

For my last post of 2011 I wanted to join in with Debby over at A Scrapjourney. Debby would like us to share Our Favourite Cards of 2011.  This was really difficult but I have finally picked my five favourites....

This is my first card....I love the image and all the pink and I was really pleased with my attempt at blending.

My second choice is this card using one of my favourite stamps from House Mouse.

The image on this card was a freebie from Craft Stamper and I've used it so many times but I just loved the sunshine colours and how this card turned out.

This was one of my first attempts at White on White and I haven't looked back, even though I struggled to start with.

This is my final choice although there are quite a few others I would like to have picked....I have picked this card because it was a completely different style of card for me and I loved how the flowers turned out.

Thank you for stopping by......Have a wonderful evening and Happy New Year to you all.
