A Spot Of Sock Knitting....

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It looks as though Sunday is going to be a good day for me to post here....

So here goes....

This week has been better as far as the Fibromyalgia goes....things are continuing to improve albeit very slowly....but if slowly does it...then slowly it is.

I have manged to lose another 3lbs in weight this week so I am pleased about that....and I have marked this up on my little weight loss tracker at the side of my blog.

I have also managed to read another two books....that's now 3 read towards my 26 in 2019 Goodreads Challenge...

Laughed my way through this one...

Scared myself with this one...

One day I had a little walk into the village and popped into the Community Library and this is what I came out with.....As if I didn't have enough reading material at home....

Well I haven't got these....I just can't resist a book!

Last week I received a lovely bunch of parcels from one of my favourite yarn shops and just look what was inside....

I plan shawls and mittens....eventually...

And finally this week I went along to our local knitting shop and joined a class (with mum) to learn how to knit socks....

I have never tried knitting on four needles and am still not convinced I am doing it right but it's beginning to look like a 'sock' so on with it I will go.....

I haven't managed to do any sewing this week and the rest of my knitting has had to take a backseat....(maybe due to the reading) but at least I have achieved something this week....

I will check in again next Sunday....if I remember....

Until then have a lovely week.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I happy to read you're improving, Debbie and congratulations on your weight loss. I always find it so difficult at this time of year when I just want to cosy up and eat comfort food.
The parcel looks full of Yarny goodness and the colours are just gorgeous. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your makes. Your socks are looking great. X

Hi Debbie, what great start you have made to the socks. Is that a sock blockers I see in your wool parcel too? Sock knitting is very addictive.
Nice choice of books, I cant resist a good title either.
Have a good week
Julie
