Gotcha Kate!!!! .....

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I just wanted to say 'Hello' and 'Welcome' to my new followers. Thank you so much for joining me on my crafting adventure.....

I would also like to offer an apology for my lack of posts and comments this week even though I've had a week off work.....I haven't stopped.

I have been so busy with one thing and another my plan to catch up and get some crafting time in went out of the window......and I've ended up decorating my dining room, gardening and hedge cutting. Taking out bathroom suites, dental appointments and the list goes on.....but I did get a day out in Lincoln with my daughter on Friday, and a lovely day at

The Hobby House

on Saturday for the 10th Birthday Bash and today I've been to The Brocklesby Show......where despite the wind and the rain I have still, as always had a wonderful time.

Here is a photo of some of the HH DT who I met
(obviously I know Kate)

Janine, Kate & Nikki

I had a lovely day and met lots of fabulous crafter's including these three very talented ladies who I'm very honoured to be on the DT with. I also met Chris (HH's Create & Craft Demonstrator) and Hazel who were demonstrating some fabulous creative makes.

I bought lots of new crafty stash items and can't wait to tip them out of my bag and have a play.

Thank you so much for popping by.

Have a lovely afternoon.

A Spot Of Gardening....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Today I have another card to share.....now can't you just tell I've got a week off work.

This is the card I have made for my dad for Father's Day.

My dad can often be found in the garden usually on his knees doing the weeding.....much to my mum's annoyance as he's forever ruining his trousers because he never uses a mat to kneel on.

For my card I used another of the Coloured Art Pads from LOTV called 'Vintage Boys'. I love these pads as they are great for quick cards but also give you inspiration for colouring too. The papers are also from LOTV  'Country Gent'. I added some garden twine and attached some gardening themed charms and completed my card with pearls from The Hobby House

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

The pearl trim around the image is also from the Hobby House and will appear soon on the website.

Sunday 9 June 2013

Another UFO Completed.....

Good morning everyone.

I hope everyone is well.

Today I want to share another UFO that is now.....'Finished'.

At the start of the year I decided to try and work my way 'slowly' through my stash of unfinished objects and projects.....all was going fairly well then I stopped.

Well anyway I have managed to complete another project......at last.

I'm sorry the photo isn't very good but I had to hang the bauble on the door to get a decent picture and the light was terrible. This is another Christmas bauble made from folded squares of material and pinned to a polystyrene egg. I bought the kit from The Harrogate Knitting & Stitching Show a couple of years ago and like many things it stayed in a drawer destined never to see the light of day.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Have a lovely day.

Monday 3 June 2013

My lovely daughter Brogan passed her driving test this morning.....looks like we'll have to share the car now......

Congratulations Boo.....We're so proud of you.

Well Done.

XXXXXXX

Thank you for popping by.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.
