Happy Mother's Day

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well and that all you fabulous mum's are having a wonderful day.

My beautiful daughter Brogan (yes I know I'm biased....I am her mother after all)

Bought me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.....two boxes of chocolates (I know) she knows one wouldn't last me too long.....the full Dracula (10 episode) dvd box set and a POP! figurine of the Khal Drogo character from Game Of Thrones.....

Yes my daughter knows me so well......

I am going to save the DVD Dracula series for when we go to Whitby......the perfect place to watch this given the caravan sits in the shadows of Whitby Abbey.

Today I would like to share the card and yet another peg note holder that I made for my mum.

The image on the card is a Pion image I think.....I've had these for so long I never thought I would get round to using them.....but with all the lace, pearls and pearls strings that were strewn across my desk and lots of inspiration from lots of gorgeous blogs I came up with this card.

I have to say a huge 'Thank you' to the fabulously talented 'Nic' for her amazing inspirational creations over on her blog. Such a talented lady.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Little Bird And A Twickers Chick

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Yesterday I managed to get all the shopping, housework and gardening done so I can now get on with a little crafting and then indulge myself in the rugby this afternoon. I love rugby and always have......Normally I do a very good job of shouting my head off and telling the ref how to do his job!!!!!.....Poor man.....

I don't even have to worry about the Sunday roast as we're all going to mum and dad's later when Brogan finishes work.

A Quiet Moment

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Sorry for being such a rubbish blogger of late.....life just seems to get in the way.

Although last weekend doesn't count I guess as we were away having a fabulous time in London which I will tell you all about in another post later.

Today I have another of my tags to share.

Again this is part of a set I made.

This beautiful image is an Elizabeth Bell Topper from The Hobby House called Quiet Moments. I love these toppers as the colours are just gorgeous and the images are so pretty. The flower die is from Marianne Creatables. I've had these dies for ages and I really don't use them as much as I should.

The papers are from my stash....sorry not sure what make they are.  The ribbon, brad, spacer, apple charm, pearls, lace and pearl string are all from The Hobby House. The sentiment is simply computer generated.

I would like to enter my tag into the following challenges:~

Winter Wonderland

Our theme this week is

A CHRISTMAS COUPLE

And here is my DT card

Our sponsors this week are

with 1 stamp for the winner

I can't believe this is only my second Christmas card of the year. I usually have a few made by now.

This image is of course from Lili Of The Valley....these stamps are all so sweet and I love them all, hence I have a drawer full, sadly many are not even inked up yet.....shame on me!

I coloured this image using my Distress Markers. The papers are from a couple of different paper pads. I added some Stickles for added sparkle and Liquid Pearls to give the impression of falling snow.

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog to take a peek at the lovely creations the rest of the DT have made for your inspiration.

Sunday 2 March 2014

It's All About Buttons......

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I'm a bit late posting my little creation.....silly me thought I had scheduled it but alas not!

Anyway we have a new challenge over at

The Hobby House

Our theme this month is

BUTTONS

And here is my creation

As a few of you may know I like to try my hand at a bit of altered art....not always successfully I might add but as Kate Crane says 'There are no mistakes in art' so that's my motto from now on or at least when it doesn't turn out as I want it to.

I have quite a few of these fabulous Pink Pig art books so I thought I would decorate the front cover of one of them using some buttons.

The papers are from my scraps box. The beautiful die cut mount is one of my new Nesties....so pretty and the buttons are from The Hobby House ~ Meadow Mixed Button Collection. The sentiment is an Inkylicious clear polymer stamp.

Don't forget to pop over to the main challenge blog and take a peek at the gorgeous creations the rest of the DT have made for your inspiration.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely evening.
