Stella....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I'm happy to report that my neck and back are still improving although I had a set back over Christmas probably due to the sad loss of our beautiful spaniel....Stella.

A few days before Christmas we had to make the sad decision to let our beautiful girl go to sleep for the last time...it was all very sudden but we know it was the right thing to do, even though it doesn't feel like it at the moment...the vet thought she had a brain tumour and looking back 'as you do' we think maybe she had been unwell for a while....

So here are a few photos of our beautiful, bossy, mad but gentle lady....

Stella
(Lady Stella)

After a run in the park

Stealing the boys chews...there are three in her mouth...she didn't want them...she sat on them so Bertie and Daz couldn't have them...they never challenged her...her grumble was law!!!

Keeping the boys in check...they are on leads...Stella never left her bosses side so rarely walked on a lead when out in the fields or woods.

Chasing squirrels....but she never ever managed to catch anything or even come close to it...'Thank Goodness'

She did a whole hours walk in those antlers....mad as a hatter...

The chew bone was a change...it was usually a shoe or slipper...we never had a pair in one place and often found the other shoe in the utility or often in the garden....It's strange to actually find our foot wear in pairs now and where we had left them.

Poor Daz...yet again Stella has stolen his dog biscuit and stowed it in the side of her mouth like a hamster...

Stella always got the best spot to sleep and Daz had to make do with the this bony pillow.

We all miss her and her mad cap ways but we have some wonderful memories and some lovely photographs too....and we all loved her very much.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I am so sorry to read about this Debbie and can only understand as having a pet myself how much we get attached to them and feel a big loss when they go ! I am sure she is now at peace and it was the right decision for you to make. Big hugs for you and beautiful pics as memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Debbie. It's heartbreaking when anything happens to our pets, they soon worm their way into our hearts and become such a big and important part of the family. Stella looks like such a cheeky girl, I know she'll be missed but I'm sure you'll all remember her with lots of smiles. Sending you lots of hugs. xx

Dear Debbie
It is so horrible to have to let a much beloved member of the family go, even if you know it is the right thing to do. It looks as though Stella had a wonderful life with you and brought you much joy.
Best wishes
Ellie
