Something Lovely In The Post.....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I've been feeling a little sorry for myself lately.....I have had Pharyngitis and now have the most horrendous temperatures/headaches and an awful cough but I was cheered up last week when a lovely parcel arrived from the amazingly talented and kind hearted Jenny from Winnibriggs House who had posted a tutorial for making ear warmers/headband and had hosted a giveaway for the materials to make one.

I was very lucky to be one of those to receive a package which included two pieces of fleece and matching Velcro fastenings...perfect colours for me Jenny...!!! I also received a lovely handwritten note and two lovely brooches, one felt, for my crafting interests....which is now adorning one of my craft bags and the other a beautiful vintage heart brooch from Jenny's collection.

Thank you Jenny....you are so very kind and I promise I will get round to making my earmuff/headband as soon as things settle down here at home....I have an idea that I can wear it for my trips to Twickenham for my beloved rugby.....

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Sorry to hear that you are ill. And pharyngitis is not a very funny thing to have. I hope that will soon recover so that you can work on the headband of which you have just won the materials.

Poor thing. I had pharyngitis years ago and ended up taking just one day off work. The boss didn't believe me because I could talk. I had to try (and failed) to convince him that it is not the same as laryngitis. He was never the same with me after that, which was completely unfair as I am not someone who takes duvet days. Hey ho. Get well soon.
