Sorry!

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I'm sorry for my continued absence of late but so many things are happening at the moment and I seem to have less and less time to craft.

The truth is my heart has not been in it for a while....one of my closest and dearest friends who had been very ill has passed away and I just can't settle to crafting.....I know she would be saying 'come on, pull your finger out and get cracking' and I know I will but not just yet.

So here is another card.....although it seems an age since I made it.....that was published in last month's Papercraft Essentials magazine.

I know Libby would have been very proud of me.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Hi Debbie

Losing a very close friend or family member puts everything in perspective doesn't it? Suddenly playing with bits of paper and pens seems so pathetic in comparison.

But I feel sure that you will take comfort in your craft again one day and will be able to submerge yourself in what you took so much pleasure from in the past .. .. talent like yours cannot go to waste.

But for now we can enjoy the fruits of your past crafty sessions and admire the beautiful card you have posted here.

Yes, Libby would be proud of you I'm sure!

Love Jules xx

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Debbie, that's such devastating news. It must have really affected your enthusiasm for crafting but be kind to yourself and take the time you need and it will be waiting for you when you're ready - and so will we! I know there's nothing anyone can say to make you feel better at such a painful time but I'll be thinking of you.
Rebecca.
