TWO LITTLE DICKIE BIRDS...

Good afternoon everyone....

Well I've finally managed to make another Christmas card....I'm way behind with making them and I thought I was doing so well....I've actually made this card when I should be concentrating on 3 Wedding cards, a 40th Birthday card and a 25th Wedding Anniversary card which I need to get finished asap but I keep putting them off.

Anyway never mind....this is what I've made instead.....

The image is called Winter Birdhouse by Tina Wenke. I have coloured using Promarkers.....I never seem to be able to get the reds right for some reason....Oh well I'll have to keep trying. The papers are a mix of Dovecraft 'Noel' and Authentique 'Wonder' paper pads. I have used Marianne Creatables die cuts for the leaves and the flowers and I have finished off using lots of Stickles and pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Papertake Weekly Challenge ~ Christmas Crackers
Totally Gorjuss Challenge ~ # 107 ~ Swirly Whirly
The Crafty Pad Challenge ~ # 148 ~ Festive Cheer
Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge ~ # 18 ~ Anything Christmas With Pearls

Thank you for stopping by.

Beautiful card. Your red looks good to me but if you want a bit of depth try using some grey to shade.

Beautiful card u made!! I'm also having problems with Red, mostley because i just have 3 different, Ruby, Berry Red and Cardinal Red and of those 3 i find Ruby most x-masy like. Sometimes i just take some other colour, like green and use insted just because it just does'nt look the way i want. If u find a good way o fix x-mas red, please tell :o)
