THE CHRISTMAS STORY

Afternoon everyone....I hope you are all enjoying a lovely, relaxing Sunday.

First I would like to welcome all my new followers....Thank you for joining me on my crafting adventure. Although I haven't posted much in the last couple of weeks, I promise I am busy....with things that I can't show just at the minute.

I've had a great morning so far....I watched my boys...the England rugby team win their match but must admit those Georgian players certainly gave them something to think about....then we took the 'Bert' for a walk in the local woods, it was quite cold but there was lots of lovely sunshine and I must admit this is my favourite time of year....I really should have taken the camera though.

Anyway today I have a card to share.....at last!!!

This is the front view....

And this is the side view....

This card started out using a beer mat which was left over from last weeks workshop that I attended. I have altered it using Gesso and Spakle then added Distress Inks and Glimmer Mists...I've had a go at an easel card as I don't do these very often. The papers were in my scrap box and the flower is made from left over bits of paper from the workshop project. The small image is from a Crafty Individuals book and the leaves are Magnolia die cuts. I have finished off with pearls and gems and some Stickles to the flower.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Creative Inspirations Challenge ~ # 129 ~ Anything Goes!
Allsorts Challenge ~ # 121 ~ Alter/Recycle

Thank you for stopping by.
